Testimonials
βStarting my journey as a first-time horse owner with a KFPS Friesian was both a dream come true and a steep learning curve. This breed is magnificent, but their specific nutritional profile and metabolic needs can be incredibly daunting to navigate. I found myself constantly balancing the desire to provide optimal nutrients with the critical need to maintain a healthy weightβa challenge that felt overwhelming until I met Nicole.
From our very first consultation, Nicole made me feel completely at ease. Her depth of knowledge regarding breed-specific requirements is matched only by her patience. As a new owner, I had a million questions, and she answered every single one with clarity and compassion, never once making me feel out of step. She provided a roadmap that took the guesswork out of his diet, allowing me to focus on the joy of bonding with my horse.
In just over four weeks, the progress has been nothing short of remarkable. While we are focusing on a slow and steady weight lossβwhich is exactly what he needs for long-term healthβhis overall body condition has seen a terrific improvement. What is most exciting, however, is his spirit. He is noticeably more energetic, and his conditioning is improving daily. He feels stronger, more vibrant, and truly βon the right track.β
I cannot thank Nicole and Centerline enough for their expertise and for making this journey so rewarding. If you are looking for someone who truly understands the nuances of equine nutrition and cares deeply about the results, look no further.ββ

βI have a Andalusian mare who is a very easy keeper. Once she stopped growing, I wondered what I should really be feeding her. The vet said, 1.2% of her body weight should be forage. Ok, which one is best for my horse? Alfalfa? Timothy? Orchard? Mixed? I was feeding alfalfa pellets, how much is appropriate for a horse of a breed that is predisposed to insulin resistance?
I sincerely wanted to talk to a nutritionist. I did not know anyone nearby. Until....Nicole, from our barn, got her equine nutrition certification and asked if Luna could be her first case. Nicole, holds a PhD in chemistry, and is always researching questions about feeding horses & how best to feed them; based on their lifestyle, and body score.
Of course I was thrilled to be her first client! Veterinarians had told me in the past and more recently, that my horseβs body score was too high for her breed. She needed to lose weight. I didnβt know how to do that, beyond restricting her intake of what the barn was feeding her.
Nicole sat down with me and took down very detailed information of all aspects of my horseβs life. She said that her goal was to find a feed regimen that would save me money and help Luna lose enough weight to change her body score, and improve her overall health.
I am happy to report that the regimen that Nicole recommended, has resulted in my horse losing fat pads from her rump, her neck and her barrel. I have decreased the number of extra supplements that I purchase for my horse (saving me money!) and I save time needed every week to put them together. I have had several questions along the way, and Nicole, ever the researcher, has come up with logical and fact based answers.
I am beyond thrilled to have access to Nicoleβs expertise. You will too!β
