Liaison for concurrent enrollment program involving partnership with high schools offering courses for college credit. Liaison for three school districts duties including onsite visits, review of curriculum for Survey of the Animal Industry (AGS 113) and paperwork submission to fulfill NACEP accreditation requirements.
Adjunct Advisor
Advisor to adjunct instructors teaching the following courses: Fundamentals of Riding, Equine
Anatomy and Physiology, and Equitation I. Share curriculum, assist with class schedules and oversee topics being presented by adjunct instructors. Hold regular meetings with adjunct instructors to work on technology training and material presentation.
Herd Manager
Oversee and manager health, nutrition, and exercise of approximately 25 lesson horses at Ellsworth Community College. Roles include assessing body condition, basic wound management, monitoring exercise and turnout schedule. Provide communication to lesson horse owners on campus policies, horse performance, health and acclimation to the program.
Diversity Committee Member
Involved in committee goal to promote cultural awareness and incorporate a diverse student population into community volunteer and presentation activities.
Head Coach
Ellsworth Community College Hunt Seat Equestrian Team, Coach weekly equitation practices for beginner through advanced hunt seat riders on the flat and over fences.
Academic Advisor
Advisor to over 20 undergraduate students in the majors of Equine Science, Equine Management and Animal Science two year academic programs.
