Truly equine nutrition

Regina Drumm

I value the synergy between body, mind and environment in both equine nutrition and training. My feeding philosophy is based on nutrient balancing and feed types, formulated around the science of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals. But I have also studied holistic equine nutrition and see the value in some naturalistic approaches.

I believe that a horse’s health is influenced not only by what they eat, but also by their lifestyle, physical conditions, emotional state and surroundings. I study traditional and holistic nutrition ensuring that I have a well-rounded view of nutritional options that my clients might be using.

I have had a love affair with horses for over five decades. That little girl who fell in love with Black Beauty and Misty never outgrew it. I couldn’t get enough of being around them. The day I bought my first horse Lucy, was a dream come true. Now I want to be the best horse mom I can to my current horse Tripp by ensuring his health. And I always want to continue learning about horses, nutrition, training, and anything that has to do with their well-being.
